Matthew is a licensed clinical social worker and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor. “I commit myself to meeting clients where they are, as we co-create a helping relationship from a shared desire to do the work of therapy. I recognize and focus on the strengths in a person’s natural drive towards health and well-being. Therapy provides an opportunity for practical change, durable growth, and deeper understanding of our sense of self and personal history.”
Beginning in 1995, Mr. Silver’s professional practice focused on utilizing motivational interviewing, trauma informed, and strengths based harm reduction interventions as a counselor with adults, adolescents, and families impacted by mental health concerns and substance use.
